Wanted to share the event via photo. Both events - Baccalaureate and Graduation were a bit of heaven on earth. The people I love and have been standing in my balcony of encouragement (which I was utterly dependent) for many years were there - even surprise visitors! Those who couldn't be there were present in spirit. My heart has been enlarged. This along with the worship, rejoicing for my colleagues, and gratitude for professors and mentors. Laughter. Friends and family that did not think it too goofy to stand up, hoot and holler when I received my diploma. Good eats. And the hugs . . . oh my! God's goodness is demonstrated to me in all these. Do you see why I call this a bit of Heaven? I ponder the days of ministry ahead; they are wonderfully scary to think about.Soli Deo Gloria! (To God alone, be the glory)

Lisa dear...your bright eyes are hopeful, your smile...warm, and your heart, how I love your heart the most. You are my favorite you there is. You let dreams fall easily from your space. And you qicken to hear the Spirit in your heart.
It was my delight to celebrate with you, what mercy and grace are evident in your life, by his Light.
I am so proud of you, friend. I know that Abba is too--you are using the gifts He has given you to tend the sheep. I wish I could have been there to help you celebrate in person--but I was htere in spirit.
